    About me

Hi, I'm Kerstin – an electrical engineer.

What does that have to do with web design? More than you might think.

For many years, I worked in industrial development – including at Nokia, where I held various roles in developing mobile base stations. I programmed real-time software for digital signal processors (DSP), implemented algorithms for UMTS and LTE systems, and led international teams and budgets as a technical project manager.

That experience shaped me: analytical thinking, structured work, and clear communication – skills that are just as essential when planning and building complex websites today.

In 2010, I started working in web development and digital design on the side.

This field allows me to combine my technical background with my creative side:

I build websites that don’t just function – but leave an impression. Clear, aesthetic, and user-friendly.

What matters to me is not just delivering code, but true collaboration. I listen, think along, and guide my clients from first idea to final launch – reliably, transparently, and with passion for well-crafted work.

    In short:
I bring structure to ideas, tech into design, and clarity to the digital world. Punktum.

  • Fun-Facts

    • I think in structures. As a child, I drew floor plans and painted pictures – and I still love both.
    • Error messages 🐛 calm me down. They show me where to start. (Chaos without an error message? True horror.)
    • Instead of open-plan offices: a Norwegian village. I live and work where others go on holiday – with fresh air, forest 🌲 outside the door, and a stable internet connection.
    • My loyal co-worker: a four-legged 🐾 friend with a great nose for what really matters – and a strong interest in breaks, trails, and treats.
    • I bake bread 🍞 that takes time to mature. Because good bread – like good websites – needs time, patience, and a clear process.
    • My favorite design principle: Less is usually more – except when it comes to cake and beautiful typography.
